Kari is the Literacy Technician in the J.P. Morgan Chase Library as well as the co-Project Coordinator for Summer Success: A Comprehensive Kindergarten Readiness Camp. In her role as Literacy Technician, Kari works to provide high-quality early literacy experiences for the children enrolled in the A Sophie Rogers School for Early Learning through shared book reading sessions, immersive art experiences, and large motor activities. As the co-Project Coordinator for Summer Success, Kari works closely with program staff to provide high-quality classroom experiences to children ages 4-5 during the summer before their kindergarten year. Before coming to the Schoenbaum Family Center, Kari worked in various roles in Early Childhood Education and Public Library settings. Her favorite children’s authors include Mo Willems, Sandra Boynton, and Mac Barnett, just to name a few.
