Facility

The A. Sophie Rogers School for Early Learning is located in the Schoenbaum Family Center, a 47,480 square-foot facility located on East Seventh Avenue. It provides a rich learning environment, with an open design, that integrates play as an essential part of children’s physical, social, emotional and cognitive learning.

The school is next to the Weinland Park Elementary School in Columbus’ Weinland Park neighborhood a few blocks southeast from The Ohio State University.

Amenities

  • The JP Morgan Chase Library offers weekly story times, books available for borrowing, and programming and services for the community.
  • Elmer’s Products, Inc. Art Studio empowers children to explore and represent their many ideas and thoughts using art supplies and natural and recycled materials.
  • The dining room gives preschoolers and teachers the opportunity to dine, family style, and share meaningful mealtime conversations.
  • An indoor courtyard, sponsored by Proctor & Gamble, affords space for children, teachers and families to maintain fruits, vegetables and herbs used in daily meal preparation.
