Director for Community Programs & Engagement-Community Development and Grant Information
Dr. Wiechel is director of the Schoenbaum Family Center Community Programs and leads the center’s outreach efforts. Jane’s has experience in administering staffing, programming, early childhood education policy and budget, special education, gifted education, child nutrition, extended learning and safe and drug free schools. She previously served as the Associate Superintendent for the Ohio Department of Education and President of the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
Service Integration Coordinator
Sherrie coordinates services with Family Child Care Providers, Child Care Centers and Community Agency Partners. She served as a psychological therapist for 15 years in private practice and has experience as a mental health counselor and pregnancy prevention facilitator.
Michelle manages the expenditures for the program. She previously worked as a Grants and Contracts Manager at Ohio State’s Medical Center Department of Neuroscience and has 14 years’ experience in grants management and fiscal operations with the state of Ohio.
Early Head Start Director
Don has over 20 years in leading early childhood education programs around the state. He serves as director for The Ohio State University Child Care Program located on the Columbus campus as well as The Early Head Start Partnership Program. Don is a part-time faculty member at the University of Akron, School of Family and Consumer Sciences.
Vicki has over 20 years’ experience in the field of early childhood education. She has created and facilitated professional development opportunities, taught young children and mentored, coached and collaborated with educators around the country. Vicki is licensed K-8 in the state of Ohio with a strong concentration in early literacy development.
During her 20 years in field of early childhood education, Stacy has taught and advocated for young children inside and outside of the classroom, mentored, coached and directed field staff and presented trainings at the local, state and national level. The Reggio Emilia Approach to education is central to her teaching philosophy.
Data and Compliance Manager-Data and ChildPlus System
Bridey oversees the data collection in the ChildPlus system from partner agencies, child care centers and homes. She supervises data management processes and systems, implements monitoring procedures, provides training and prepares comprehensive assessment reports. She has experience as a systems analysis and engineering researcher.
Jessica Woodruff, MBP
Lead Education Resource Specialist
Jessica coordinates the Early Head Start curriculum, assessment and learning services with EHS directors, teachers and child care providers. She has experience in the field of early childhood education, instructional coaching, training and facilitating, program planning and development, project management, and process improvement. She previously served in less advantaged communities working with small groups and individuals to affect change and promote success.
Erin supports overall program operations as well as the partnership directors. She previously worked for Dublin City Schools as a substitute teacher and coach. She also served as an administrative assistant at The Ohio State University Medical Center’s Davis Heart & Lung Research Institute and the Department of Physiology and Cell Biology.
